Crossing the River in a Lifted Chevy

Lifting your truck up and putting on big tires isn’t always great for performance.  Most time it means worse mileage, rough ride and handling and several other problems.

But when your offroad, you just can’t beat the advantages of putting your truck higher off the ground!  This guy has a Chevy Avalanche with a 6 inch Pro Comp Lift kit and 35″ tires underneath

When its time for him to cross a good size river, there is no struggle at all.  The body of the truck barely even gets wet  in the rushing water.  In a lower truck or car, you would be swept downriver immediately from the force of the water on the vehicles body.  In a lifted truck, its an easy cruise.
